Requirements

OPTION 1: Provide a combination of the following for 50% of the site hardscape (including roads, sidewalks, courtyards and parking lots): -Provide shade from solar panel-covered structures and/or devices with a minimum Solar Reflective Index of 29 and/or the existing tree canopy in-place at time of occupancy or within five years of landscape installation. -Use hardscape materials with a minimum Solar hardspace Index of 29. -Use a half-pervious open-grid pavement system.
