Owners should consider alternative systems relative to the commissioning plan, such as the building envelope system, which is a vital component of energy conservation, as well as improving occupant comfort and indoor air quality. Although not required, building envelope commissioning can also reduce project costs.

  • Design.
  • Commissioning plan and specifications.
