Requirements

Interior Lighting:

OPTION 1: Minimize input power of nonemergency interior lighting by at least half from 11 PM and 5 AM.  After-hour manual or occupant-sensing device overrides are permitted for a maximum of 30 minutes. Or

OPTION 2: Every translucent or transparent opening in the envelope with straight sight access to any nonemergency lighting must shield and reduce resultant transmittance to less than10 percent between 11 PM. and 5 AM.  Lighting power densities must not exceed ANSI/ASHRAE/ IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 (with errata but without addenda¹) for the classified zone.
