Manage IAQ to preserve HVAC systems during construction and control pollutants.

-Avoid contamination of absorptive materials, such as insulation and carpeting.

-Coordinate with IEQ Credit 3.2: Construction IAQ Management Plan

— Before Occupancy and IEQ Credit 5: Indoor Chemical & Pollutant Source Control to determine the appropriate filtration media  specifications and schedules.

-Discourage use of permanent air handlers for temporary construction heating/cooling.

If permanent handlers must be installed: Use LEED Reference Guide for Green Building Design and Construction to ensure the comfort of occupants and workers.
